*sigh*
I am so sick of hearing people saying "zOMG Gerard is SOOOO hawt!!1!" then followed by "Oh yeah, Ray's okay." assuming they choose to mention him at all. And that's not saying I hate Gerard or anybody from MCR, I love them all but I need to draw attention to the Almighty Ray Toro because people tend to ignore him or assume he's just the guy with the 'fro. I could seriously go on and on about it but I'll try to keep it brief. It's just that I always feel sorry for Ray because everybody seems to like [insert band-member name here] and not say anything about him. Not to mention he's one of the greatest guitarists that ever lived. Having said that, I have met some totally rockin' Ray fans and for that I salute you.  So Ray, should you ever somehow stumble across my DeviantArt page: This is for you, Buddy. <3 </rant> |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Ray Toro is the mastermind behind the music.
If there was no Gerard, there'd be no one to sing the compositions.
If there was no Mikey, there'd be no one to lay the bass riffs he wrote.
It's like, Ray is the brain of the band.
People who don't realize that REALLY irk me.
Toro's a fucking genius, I being a guitarist myself know that it's tough when you're not so much recognized for stuff you do.
I write the music for my band and stuff too and play guitar, but it's like... I know how it is when people know other people more than you even though you do almost everything.
Sure, Gee may write the lyrics, but lyrics are just poetry without the time signature.
and you, my children, may take that quote to the bank. and end.

I think people are just put off by his almighty fro or something.
It just really angers me when people say stuff about him and I just have to sit there and think if only you knew how wrong you are.
Plus I know from personal experience that Ray is one of the nicest guys since the dawn of time and so the least he deserves is a little love <3

Like I say, I could go on and on forever.
I best not get myself worked up.
